Finix has a variety of payment terminals available for you to use in your In-Person Payments Integration.
The following is a list of the differenty typers of terminals currently offered by Finix. We're actively working on adding more terminals so check back to see what other terminals you can use!
Card Readers
Card readers provide essential payment features without overwhelming complexity.
Compared to other temrinals, card readers are more affordable and easier to use with quick setup and a straightforward interface.

Tabletop terminals are sturdy and reliable terminals designed for a more traditional in-person payment experience.
They feature a large, clear display, ethernet connectivity for stable internet access, and are powered via an outlet, ensuring continuous operation without the need for batteries.

Unattended Terminals
Unattended terminals are designed to operate seamlessly in self-service environments, providing a quick and convenient secure payment solution for your buyers.
These terminals cater to self-serve environments where customers can complete transactions independently, without a cashier. This includes kiosks, vending machines, self-service checkout lines and other unattended scenarios.

Choosing a Payment Terminal
1) Are you connecting the payment temrinal to a iOS or Android mobile device or tablet?
a) Yes: Use the BBPOS Chipper 2X BT terminal. The BBPOS Chipper 2X BT terminal is, currently, the only terminal available for integrations using Finix's Mobile SDKs.
b) No: See the following question.
2) Does the payment terminal need to include a receipt printer?
a) Yes: Integrate with the PAX A920 Pro payment terminal.
b) No: See the following question.
3) Does the payment terminal need to be easy to carry, hand-held, battery powered, or leave the tabletop environment?
a) Yes: Integrate with the PAX A77 or Link 2500 payment terminal. Integrate with the Move 5000 for a premium receipt embedded option.
b) No: See the following question.
4) Does the payment terminal need a small footprint?
a) Yes: Integrate with the PAX A35 or Lane 3000 payment terminal. If a simple embedded receipt printing capability is required, integrate with the Desk 3500.
b) No: Answer the following question.
5) Do you want the largest available screen?
a) Yes: Integrate with the Lane 8000 or PAX Aries8 payment terminal. Integrate with the PAX Aries 8 is you also want a terminal that swivels.
b) No: Integrate with the PAX A30 or Lane 7000 payment terminal. If a simple embedded receipt printing capability is required, integrate with the Desk 5000.

Providing your Finix point of contact a demand forecast with the quantity of terminals you'd like helps ensure we can provide you with the quantity of temrinals that you need when you need them. They'll also be able to assist you with any sandbox temrinals and cards for your needs.
