PAX A35

Learn how to use the PAX A35 payment terminal.


PAX A35

The PAX A35 is a hybrid tabletop and handheld payment terminal for use with the Finix API. It uses Wi-Fi, ethernet, or 4G LTE to connect with the internet.

Connecting the Device

The PAX A35 terminal comes with a communication cable and an AC power adapter.

To setup the PAX A35 terminal, connect the power adapter or communication cable.

Hold down the power button until the screen lights up and follow the on-screen instructions to install any updates and get the terminal connected to the internet.

Once connected to the internet, setup your terminal with Finix using the Device resource: Create a Device

Internet

The PAX A35 payment terminal can connect to the internet using:

  • an ethernet cable
  • a Wi-Fi network
  • 4G LTE

We strongly recommend using a Wi-Fi or Ethernet connection to connect the PAX A35 to the internet.
